Fishing sunglasses FAQs

Which Eyesnug frame should I choose for fishing?

Originals is the frame currently featured in this collection. It has a wider everyday shape and a removable foam insert for closer coverage when you want it. Check the measurements against a pair that already fits you well before choosing.

Why choose polarised lenses for fishing?

Sunlight reflecting from the surface can create strong glare. Polarised lenses help reduce that reflection, making it more comfortable to look across the water for longer. Lens colour can change how the view feels, but all the options in this collection are chosen with bright water in mind.

Can I wear Eyesnug over prescription glasses?

Originals is not designed to fit over prescription glasses. If you need to keep your usual glasses on underneath, take a look at our Fitovers and compare their measurements with your prescription frame.

Are Eyesnug sunglasses waterproof or buoyant?

No. Eyesnug sunglasses are not designed to float and should not be treated as waterproof. Keep them secure near the water and avoid submerging them.

How should I look after my sunglasses after fishing?

Rinse away salt, dust or grit with fresh lukewarm water, then dry the lenses gently with a clean microfibre cloth. Let the frame dry fully before storing it in its case.

Why fish with Eyesnug?

Made for longer sessions

Fishing often means spending hours in bright, open conditions. Eyesnug Originals combine polarised lenses with a wraparound shape, helping with reflected glare while giving you more coverage around the eyes.

Less surface glare

Polarised lenses help reduce the glare that bounces off the water. That can make it more comfortable to watch the surface, whether you are fishing from the bank, a jetty or a boat.

Coverage on exposed banks

The close-fitting shape adds coverage around the sides of the eyes and may reduce direct exposure to wind, dust and light spray. It is not sealed, so some air and particles can still get through.

Comfort starts with fit

Originals has a wider, more everyday shape that may suit average to larger head sizes. Compare its measurements with a pair you already wear comfortably, especially if you plan to keep it on for hours.
