Will Eyesnug Fitovers fit over my glasses?
Fitovers work best over small and medium prescription frames. Your glasses should be no wider than 145mm across the full front and no taller than 45mm. Very wide, tall or thick frames may need a larger fitover shape.
Should I choose polarised or photochromic Fitovers?
Choose polarised lenses when reflected glare from roads, water or bright surfaces is the main concern. Choose photochromic Fitovers when you want the lenses to respond to changing UV levels outdoors.
How are Fitovers different from prescription-ready sunglasses?
Fitovers sit over your existing prescription glasses, so you keep wearing the lenses you already use. A prescription-ready frame replaces that two-frame setup with prescription lenses fitted directly into an Eyesnug frame.
Can I wear Fitovers for driving?
Polarised Fitovers can help reduce reflected glare during daytime driving. Photochromic lenses may not darken fully behind a windscreen because much of the UV light is filtered out. Never drive in lenses that are too dark for the conditions.
Do Fitovers add coverage around prescription glasses?
Yes. The larger wraparound shape covers the front and sides of compatible prescription frames. It may help reduce direct exposure to wind, dust and pollen, while leaving enough room for the glasses underneath.
