Sunglasses for dusty conditions FAQs

Which Eyesnug frame should I choose for dusty conditions?

Pursuit has a secure sport shape and a removable Snug Shield. Viento is lighter and narrower, with a fixed low-profile insert. Originals is our widest close-fitting frame and has a removable foam insert. Compare the measurements with a pair that already fits you well.

Are Eyesnug sunglasses safety glasses?

No. Eyesnug sunglasses are not certified safety glasses. Use correctly rated eye protection for impact, power tools, chemicals or hazardous work.

Do close-fit sunglasses block all dust?

No. The wraparound shape adds coverage around the eyes and may help reduce direct exposure to windblown dust and other particles, but the frames are not sealed. Fine particles can still get through around the edges.

Which lenses should I choose for dusty days?

Choose your frame for fit and coverage, then choose lenses for the light. Standard lenses hold a fixed tint. Polarised lenses can help reduce reflected glare. Photochromic lenses become darker or lighter as UV levels change outdoors.

How should I clean sunglasses after a dusty day?

Remove the removable insert from Originals or Pursuit first. Rinse loose dust and grit from the lenses and frame with clean lukewarm water, taking care not to soak the insert or fixed shield. Dry everything gently with a clean microfibre cloth before putting your glasses away.

For dry, dusty days

Why choose Eyesnug for dusty conditions?

Closer coverage for dusty days

Eyesnug frames sit closer to the face than many standard sunglasses. Their wraparound shape adds coverage around the eyes on dry, exposed routes.

Choose the fit you need

Try the sporty Pursuit, the smaller Viento or the wider Originals. Each frame has a different shape and insert, so compare the measurements before choosing.

Lenses for the light

Standard lenses keep a fixed tint. Polarised lenses can help with reflected glare, while photochromic lenses adjust as UV levels change outdoors.

Made for real days outdoors

Stable yards, dry trails and breezy gardens can all feel exposed. Pick a comfortable close fit, keep the lenses clean and get on with what you enjoy.
